Two things you ought to know about how things stand in Howard County where the rights of LGBTQIA+ young people are concerned.
1. Notoriously hateful Libs of TikTok is targeting the Pride Prom.
2. Howard County M4L is amplifying/promoting messages from Libs of TikTok.
How on earth did Libs of TikTok even know about a Pride Prom in Howard County, Maryland?
I have a pretty good idea how that happened.
At the moment Howard County M4L is known largely for staging dramatic readings of books they consider “too sexy for library shelves” at HCPSS Board Meetings. (You have to wonder what they are getting out of that…) Are they also setting up local young people to be targeted by a national hate account?
I think that bears further scrutiny, especially during BOE election season.
